CAR CRASH

Photos By: Andy Porter

While in Memphis, Tennessee, for work I came across a really bad car wreck. It happened right in front me and I rushed over to help. The police, fire, and rescue arrived so I grabbed my camera and documented the action. A guy from the fire department asked me who I was, and I said I was from the EPA. This kind of made them overcompensate with laying berms and absorbent power to soak up the oil and fluids from the cars.

You never know what twist of fate will suddenly occur in your life. Things on your mind, have to drive here, get to there, then BAMM! I showed these photos to a family member. She said that I should not take photos of people without their knowledge. At the event level photons impinge, absorb, reflect, and leave your skin at the speed of light. You cannot get them back even if you wanted. Neither can you stop the laws of motion, velocity, momentum...
