Loony Weekend in Alabama

This weekend I hung out with Kelly and Mark. They had ridgewalked to Loony Gap on Beaver Mountian the previous weekend looking for Loony Gap Well. They found the pit but did not have rope to drop it. We returned on Satuday with Mike and Jim. We ridgewalked over to the gap, finding a few karst features. In Loony Gap we quickly found the Loony Gap Well and taped the pit at 52 feet deep. I walke to the northeast about 400 feet and 30 feet higher and found a tight crack that looked like it went deep. Later Mark checked it out and found it barely qualified. We named it Loony Crack Ho.
