Caving in Fern Cave and Pitting on Sunday


A large group of us did a crossover trip in Fern Cave. Fern Cave is in Alabama and has somewhere over 20 miles of passage. The cave is unique in that this 20 miles is all in a large vertical matrix with 20 levels or more. The last few slides represent a pitting trip in the Paint Rock River valley area.
