All of these photos are from a Huntsville Grotto trip to do Halls Pit on the Smith's Property. One of the Owners, Ronnie Smith, (slide 03) graciously set up this trip. The pit is only open via direct permission during non hunting season or on these special weekend trips. A reporter from Birmingham (Slide 05) was recording the activities for a future article in the Birmingham newspaper. The frog has lived in the bottom of this pit for at least two years (Slide 12). The great photos in slides 5-7, 13-14, 17, & 20 were taken by Sharon Faulkner (Slides 9, 10, 15). Spring is here (Slide 20)! |
